Applicants with a GPA above 2.5 are not required to take GRE or GMAT. For applicants whose GPA is between 2.0 and 2.5, a GRE or GMAT will be required.
Do I need an undergraduate degree related to science or engineering to apply for MS-ADS at USD?
Even though it is expected that applicants acquire their bachelor’s degrees in any STEM field (science, technology, engineering or mathematics), the program is also open to those with a bachelor’s degree from any other field. Such applicants are required to provide a written document to showcase on how their skills and experience are suited to the program.

How much does MS-ADS program cost in tuition?
The Master of Science in Applied Data Science online program is 36 total credits at $925 per credit, for a total tuition of $33,300. This includes two prerequisite classes that can be waived for students based on past experience. Therefore, those who qualify will only need to complete 30 credits for a total tuition of $27,750.
